Books:

Woodward, J (illustrated by Manning, C). The Gastro-archeologist. Revealing the mysteries of the intestine and its diseases. Springer Verlag 2021. Although written as a ‘popular science’ book explaining gastrointestinal diseases in the context of the evolution of the gut and the immune system, this book nevertheless proposes novel ideas on the origins of immunity.
